Medik8 has issued a recall for several batches of its Physical Sunscreen SPF50+ products in Australia and New Zealand. The recall was prompted by findings from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) that the products may not meet the SPF rating stated
on their labels. Five batches across three different products are affected, with concerns that the lower SPF rating could increase the risk of sunburn and reduce the effectiveness of skin cancer prevention. The affected products were sold between August 2023 and March 2026. Medik8 has stated that while the formula is safe to apply, some batches may offer lower than labeled SPF protection.
