What's Happening?
Sean Tyrrell, a senior forward from Suffern High School, has been named the Rockland ice hockey player of the year for the 2025-26 season. Tyrrell led his team to their third consecutive state Division I championship, scoring seven goals in the state semifinal
and final games. His impressive performance throughout the season included 45 goals and 26 assists, culminating in a career total of 88 goals and 88 assists. Tyrrell's achievements have earned him top player honors and a prominent place on the Rockland ice hockey all-star list, alongside 10 other Suffern players.
