What's Happening?
IKO, a leader in the roofing and insulation industry, has commenced construction on a new extruded polystyrene (XPS) insulation manufacturing facility in Brantford, Ontario. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by IKO executives and local officials,
including Brantford Mayor Kevin Davis and MP Larry Brock. The 67,000 square-foot facility represents a $45 million investment and is expected to employ approximately 40 people. This facility will be IKO's first XPS insulation plant, expanding its manufacturing capabilities in North America. The plant will serve customers across Canada and the northeastern United States, supporting the growing demand for insulation products.
