What's Happening?
The Premier Sports Cup has announced its group stage draws for the upcoming season, featuring a variety of Scottish football teams. St Mirren, the current holders of the cup, will face off against Scottish Cup runners-up Dunfermline Athletic, along with
Cove Rangers, East Kilbride, and Dumbarton. Falkirk, who recently returned to the Premiership, will compete against Ayr United, Alloa Athletic, Stranraer, and Edinburgh City. Championship winners St Johnstone are grouped with Greenock Morton, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, East Fife, and Linlithgow Rose. Other notable groupings include Highland League champions Brora Rangers with Aberdeen, Queen's Park, Queen of the South, and Kelty Hearts. The group stage matches are scheduled to begin on July 11/12 and conclude on July 25/26.
