What's Happening?
TravelManagers has introduced a new corporate brand, Corporate Travel Specialists (CTS), aimed at expanding the corporate travel services offered by its advisors. The initiative is designed to fill a market
gap by providing a comprehensive corporate advisor model. CTS offers a range of resources including a new website, marketing materials, and corporate travel programs. The brand also provides administrative and business support to its advisors. The launch has seen initial interest from 26 Personal Travel Managers (PTMs), with some opting to fully brand as CTS while others choose to dual brand, maintaining their leisure travel services under the TravelManagers name.
Why It's Important?
The introduction of Corporate Travel Specialists by TravelManagers represents a strategic move to capture a larger share of the corporate travel market. This expansion is significant as it provides PTMs with enhanced tools and support, potentially increasing their competitiveness in the corporate sector. The initiative could lead to increased business opportunities and revenue streams for PTMs, particularly those looking to diversify their offerings. Additionally, the move underscores a broader trend in the travel industry towards specialization and tailored services, which could influence how travel agencies structure their business models in the future.
What's Next?
TravelManagers plans to continue recruiting established corporate advisors to join the CTS brand. The company will also focus on expanding its Client Leads Program to attract new Small and Medium Sized Enterprise (SME) accounts. This effort will involve pairing these accounts with dedicated PTMs, either home-based or as in-house specialists. The success of this initiative could lead to further growth and development of the CTS brand, potentially setting a precedent for other travel agencies to follow.
