The funding round was led by EQT Growth, with participation from Atomico, HarbourVest Partners, and existing investors such as Kinnevik, Battery Ventures, and Tiger Global. Mews, founded in 2012 by Richard Valtr and Matt Welle, offers a cloud-native operating system for hotels, streamlining processes like reservations, check-ins, housekeeping, and payments. The platform currently supports over 15,000 properties across 85 countries, processing millions of check-ins and handling significant
transaction volumes annually.
