HAECO has announced a new agreement with Safran Electronics and Defense Actuation Systems to establish a support line for Airbus A320 and A330 flight control and actuation components. This development will see HAECO's Xiamen, China operation handling
the repair of these components, primarily targeting operators in the Asia-Pacific region. HAECO's Xiamen facility is already equipped with extensive maintenance capabilities, including airframe services, parts manufacturing, and technical training. This agreement builds on Safran's acquisition of Collins Aerospace's flight control and actuation portfolio in July 2025, which consolidated these services under Safran Electronics and Defense. The collaboration between HAECO and Safran has been ongoing, with previous projects including maintenance capabilities for evacuation slides on the Comac C919 aircraft and the installation of reverse bleed systems on CFM International Leap engines.
