What's Happening?
Joey Garber, a notable alumnus of Petoskey High School, is set to be inducted into the Petoskey High School Athletic Hall of Fame. Garber, who graduated in 2010, has had a distinguished career in golf,
both at the collegiate and professional levels. He was a two-time Michigan Mr. Golf and set numerous records during his high school and college years. Garber played for the University of Michigan and the University of Georgia, where he became the No. 1 collegiate golfer in the country. He turned professional in 2014 and has competed in 29 PGA Tour events and 149 Korn Ferry Tour events. The induction ceremony will take place on February 13, 2026, during halftime of a Petoskey boys basketball game.
