Wyatt Hendrickson, a former NCAA heavyweight champion, has claimed the Pan Am Championships title in the 125-kilogram category. The event took place in Coralville, Iowa, where Hendrickson, representing the Cowboy RTC, showcased his wrestling prowess.
He swiftly defeated Mexico's Brandon Anguiano Flores in just 30 seconds, followed by a 10-0 victory over Brazil's Gabriel De Sousa Silva in the semifinals. In the final match, Hendrickson pinned Canada's Jorawar Dhinsa in under two minutes. This victory marks Hendrickson's second major title of the year, having previously won the U.S. Open. Hendrickson, who wrestled for Oklahoma State for one year, continues to train at the Cowboy RTC, part of the U.S. Olympic Regional Training Center system.
