Dave Ettinger, head coach of Garden City High School in New York, has been honored as the 2025 NFC Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year. Ettinger, nominated by the New York Giants, led his team to an undefeated 12-0 season, culminating in their 10th consecutive Nassau Conference II championship and their 5th consecutive Long Island Class II Championship. Over his 11-year tenure, Ettinger has achieved a remarkable 121-3 record, establishing one of the most dominant winning streaks in New York State football history. The award was decided by a panel that
included Pro Football Hall of Famers Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning, among others.
