The QCinema Project Market has awarded over PHP18 million ($310,000) in support to Southeast Asian filmmakers during its third edition. Held in Quezon City, the event featured pitch sessions, curated meetings,
and industry dialogues. The top honor, the Quezon City Best Project Award, went to Dominic Bekaert's 'Daddy Cool,' which received PHP1 million ($17,240) and additional post-production services. Other notable awards included the QPM Southeast Asian Project Award and the QPM Filipino Project Award, supporting projects from Singapore, Vietnam, and the Philippines. The event underscores Quezon City's status as a UNESCO Creative City of Film.
