The Seattle Kraken are hosting a Black Hockey History Night at Climate Pledge Arena, featuring a performance by Tacoma's Lincoln High School Cheer Team. The event, part of the Kraken's Common Thread program, aims to promote inclusivity and celebrate the contributions
of the Black community to hockey. The cheer team, known for their Stomp and Shake style, will perform during the second intermission of the game against the Vancouver Canucks. The night will also include an auction of a Black Hockey History jersey designed by local artist Damon Brown, with proceeds benefiting the Black Future Co-op Fund.
