Kareem Jackson, a former safety for the Denver Broncos, has transitioned into a new role as a southwest regional scout for the team. Jackson, 37, is currently representing the Broncos at the NFL combine. His career began with the Houston Texans, where
he played from 2010 to 2018 after being drafted as a first-round cornerback out of Alabama. Jackson later switched to the safety position. He joined the Broncos in 2019 and played with them for five years. However, a series of fines and suspensions during the 2023 season led to his release. Jackson briefly returned to the Houston Texans and spent the 2024 season with the Buffalo Bills, primarily on the practice squad. After being without a team in 2025, Jackson started working with the Broncos' general manager George Paton’s personnel staff in an undefined role, which has now evolved into his current scouting position.
