Renaud Salmon, the creative director of the niche fragrance brand Amouage, has co-founded a new design practice named Atelier d’Ingénierie Fades (AIF) alongside French designer Dimitry Hlinka. This initiative focuses on creating professional instruments,
furniture, and immersive sensory installations that translate the ephemeral nature of scent into tangible objects. The practice is based between Paris and Muscat, where Amouage is headquartered. AIF plans to open its first public-facing space in Paris, aiming to blend professional and public realms.
