Elation Health has launched a new AI-powered billing workflow designed to automate the billing process for primary care practices. This 'touchless fast lane' system allows for claims to be generated and submitted with minimal manual intervention. In pilot
programs, 72% of eligible routine claims were processed automatically, with over 95% being submitted without additional manual input. The AI system uses data from the Elation EHR, including pre-visit details and AI-drafted visit notes, to suggest diagnosis and procedure codes. This innovation aims to reduce administrative burdens on healthcare providers, allowing them to focus more on patient care.
