GKN Aerospace, in collaboration with the US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), has launched the TITAN-AM program, a $8.4 million initiative aimed at advancing Laser Metal Deposition with Wire (LMD-w) technology for large-scale aerospace applications.
