Hilton and Higuerón Developments have announced the signing of Waldorf Astoria Marbella, marking the introduction of the Waldorf Astoria brand to Spain's Malaga Province. Scheduled to open in 2029, the resort will feature 120 guest rooms and suites, along with 120 branded residences. The design will be crafted by three Pritzker Prize-winning architects, aiming to blend residential comfort with Waldorf Astoria's signature service. The resort will offer a variety of dining experiences, a 750 square meter spa, and access to a championship golf course originally designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. The course will undergo a redesign by Robert Trent Jones Jr. to maintain its essence while introducing contemporary elements.
