What's Happening?
The Kohler Foundation is set to relaunch its Arts at the Waelderhaus series in April 2026, offering five free cultural programs. The events will be held at the Waelderhaus, an Austrian-inspired house museum in Kohler, Wisconsin, every Sunday at 2 p.m.
The series will begin on April 12 with a performance by the Carroll University Chamber Singers, directed by Dr. Jeremiah Cawley. Subsequent performances include a woodwind quintet from the Sheboygan Symphony Orchestra on April 19, and a performance by violinist Clara Montes and pianist Paolo González on June 28. The series will also feature the Paine Street Ramblers performing New Orleans-style Dixieland jazz on August 16, and will conclude on September 27 with a presentation by local photographer Darryl Gumm. All events are free, but reservations are encouraged.
Why It's Important?
The return of the Arts at the Waelderhaus series highlights the Kohler Foundation's commitment to promoting cultural enrichment and community engagement through accessible arts programming. By offering free events, the foundation provides an opportunity for the public to experience diverse cultural performances and educational presentations. This initiative not only supports local artists and musicians but also fosters a sense of community and cultural appreciation among attendees. The series serves as a platform for showcasing talent and preserving cultural heritage, contributing to the cultural vibrancy of the Kohler community.
