The Portland Fire of the WNBA and the Portland Thorns of the NWSL are set to open a joint training facility on August 22. This $150 million performance center, located on a 12-acre site west of Portland, was previously owned by Nike. It marks the first
time in the U.S. that professional women's teams from different sports will share such a facility. The center includes amenities like locker rooms, lounges, soccer fields, basketball courts, and areas for strength training, conditioning, and rehabilitation.
