What's Happening?
Rudolph and Sletten, a subsidiary of Tutor Perini Corporation, has been awarded a contract by Sutter Health to develop a new Advanced Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Care Complex in Sacramento, California. The project involves converting an existing office
building at 660 J Street into a 120,000 square-foot ambulatory surgical center and medical office building. This facility aims to meet the increasing demand for advanced orthopedics and sports medicine services. The complex will feature expanded medical offices, exam rooms, concussion clinics, a performance lab, physical therapy spaces, research areas, and five operating rooms. Significant structural upgrades will be made to comply with current seismic requirements, and all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems will be replaced. The project began pre-construction in spring 2025 and is expected to be completed by fall 2027.
