What's Happening?
Winncom Technologies, a prominent distributor of wireless and wired broadband equipment, has introduced a new initiative called the BEAD Post-Award Compliance Assistance Program. This program is designed to assist broadband providers in transitioning
from the funding selection phase to project implementation more efficiently. The initiative builds on the success of Winncom's previous Grant Writing Assistance Program, which has helped numerous customers secure federal and state broadband funding with a high success rate. Since the restructuring of the NTIA BEAD program in June 2025, Winncom has collaborated with over 30 providers across 16 states on more than 65 BEAD and USDA applications. The new program aims to help providers meet the increasing requirements set by states, such as detailed engineering packages, implementation budgets, and cybersecurity plans, which are necessary before finalizing agreements.
