IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of Theobalds Estate in Hertfordshire as the first UK property to join its Noted Collection brand. The estate, owned by Surya Hotels, is set within 55 acres of parkland and features a partly Grade-II listed
building. Historically, it served as an 18th-century residence for the Royal Family and was home to King James I in the 17th century. The property will undergo extensive refurbishment, including the addition of a spa, gym, wellness center, and other modern amenities. Theobalds Estate is scheduled to open as part of the Noted Collection by IHG in 2027.
