What's Happening?
Fincantieri, an Italian shipbuilder, and Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) have launched the Norwegian Aura, a new cruise ship at the Monfalcone shipyard. The vessel, which is set to be delivered in spring 2027, boasts a gross tonnage of 170,000 tonnes and a length
of 344 meters. It features 1,976 cabins and can accommodate approximately 3,880 passengers. The ship includes amenities such as a large water park, adventure course, and Ocean Boulevard promenade. This launch is part of a long-standing partnership between Fincantieri and NCL, with additional orders for three more ships.
