What's Happening?
The Metamora boys track team delivered an impressive performance at the 2A Galesburg sectional, scoring 132 points to secure first place. Senior Jaiduan Cranford led the team with victories in the 100-and-200-meter races, setting a personal best in the 200 meters.
The team also excelled in relay events, with season-best times in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays. The Redbirds are now preparing for the state championship meet at Eastern Illinois University.
