Isabella Rossellini is set to star in Italian director Alice Rohrwacher's adaptation of U.S. author Audrey Niffenegger's novel 'Three Incestuous Sisters.' The film, which marks Rohrwacher's first English-language feature, includes a cast of Dakota Johnson,
Saoirse Ronan, Jessie Buckley, and Josh O'Connor. The production is currently underway on the island of Stromboli, off the coast of Sicily. The screenplay, co-written by Rohrwacher and U.S. writer Ottessa Moshfegh, is based on the illustrated gothic novel about three sisters living in isolation, whose lives are disrupted by the arrival of a lighthouse keeper's son. The film is produced by Indian Paintbrush and TeaTime Pictures, with principal photography scheduled for ten weeks in Stromboli and Rome.
