What's Happening?
The Dark Horse comic series 'Dead Mall,' created by Adam Cesare and artist David Stoll, is set to be adapted into a feature film by production company Not the Funeral Home. Screenwriter Michael Varrati, known for his work on 'The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula'

The adaptation will draw from Cesare's original story notes, which include previously unseen material. Not the Funeral Home has a history of producing horror content, including 'The Last Drive In With Joe Bob Briggs' and several Shudder original films.
Why It's Important?
The adaptation of 'Dead Mall' into a feature film highlights the growing trend of comic book series being transformed into cinematic experiences, reflecting the increasing demand for horror content in the film industry.
