Elation Health, a technology platform focused on primary care, has launched an AI-powered billing workflow designed to automate the claims process. This new system, referred to as the 'touchless fast lane,' allows for the creation and submission of claims with
minimal manual intervention. In pilot practices, 72% of eligible routine claims were generated directly from visit notes without manual input, and over 95% of these claims were submitted for reimbursement automatically. The AI system utilizes existing data from the Elation EHR, such as pre-visit details and AI-drafted visit notes, to suggest diagnosis, procedure, and drug codes. This innovation aims to reduce the administrative burden on healthcare providers, allowing them to focus more on patient care.
