The story follows Liz Buxbaum, a high school senior who uses her love for romantic comedies to win over her crush, with the help of her charming yet annoying neighbor. Julia Hart, known for her work on 'I’m Your Woman' and 'Miss Stevens', will co-write the screenplay with her husband, Jordan Horowitz. The project is produced by Original Headquarters, marking their second collaboration with Netflix after 'Don’t Say Good Luck'.
