Planet One Group has signed a joint venture agreement with Tanzania's State Mining Corporation (STAMICO) to develop three graphite concessions in the Mererani region. This partnership aims to diversify Planet One's mining portfolio, which includes bauxite,
iron ore, gold, lithium, and heavy mineral sands. Graphite is recognized as a critical mineral for energy transition, with applications in batteries, electronics, and advanced materials. The agreement was signed in Dodoma, Tanzania, in the presence of the Minister of Mines, Hon. Anthony Mavunde.
