The University of Tennessee's softball team has been selected as the No. 7 national seed for the 2026 NCAA regional tournament. The Lady Vols will host the regional games in Knoxville, marking the 21st consecutive year they have done so. The tournament will take

Virginia, with a 38-13 record, and Indiana, with a 42-14 record, will compete in the second game of the day. The regional winner will advance to the super regional, scheduled for May 21-24, where they will face the winner of Georgia's regional. The Women's College World Series is set to begin on May 28 in Oklahoma City.
