Blue Flag Capital, in collaboration with Collared Martin Hospitality, has opened Hotel Corduroy in Montauk, New York. This new boutique hotel is part of a series of openings planned for Long Island this
summer. The hotel, which was originally built in 1983, has been transformed into a high-design retreat that reflects Montauk's surf culture and creative spirit. The renovation, done in partnership with interior design firm Ward + Gray, maintains the original architecture while introducing new interiors. The hotel features 29 rooms, each designed to capture Montauk's coastal character with layered textures and a sun-faded palette. The property includes a private beach area and offers complimentary beach gear and bikes for guests. This opening marks Blue Flag's first venture in New York, expanding their presence beyond Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.
