Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom is inviting educators to participate in two professional development programs focused on agriculture. These programs, scheduled for July and August, aim to provide teachers with continuing education hours and curriculum resources
while engaging them in the agricultural sector. The Growing Minds Conference, a two-day event, will feature tours and workshops in Wisconsin and Minnesota, offering hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, the Summer Book Tour will take educators to various agricultural sites, including a cranberry farm, to explore the inspirations behind certain educational books. These initiatives are designed to integrate agricultural education into core subjects like science and social studies.
