Paladin EnviroTech, a Tampa-based company, has acquired ICT, Ireland's first R2v3-certified IT asset disposition (ITAD) provider. This acquisition is part of Paladin's $70 million investment strategy,
which includes five acquisitions over nine months across the U.S., Netherlands, and Ireland. The acquisition aims to enhance Paladin's capabilities in handling hardware disposal from Dublin's hyperscale data center cluster. ICT, founded in Dublin in 2003, is known for its in-house processing and secure data destruction services. The company processes over 2,000 tonnes of end-of-life electronics annually and has shredded more than 500,000 data-bearing devices. Following the acquisition, ICT will transition to the Paladin brand and relocate to a new 52,000 square foot facility in Dublin.
