Utilidata, a company specializing in embedded artificial intelligence for power infrastructure, has partnered with NexGen Cloud, a European AI cloud provider, to deploy the Karman AI power control platform across NexGen Cloud’s data centers. This collaboration
aims to increase AI compute capacity by up to 50% within existing grid constraints through intelligent GPU power orchestration and utilization of stranded energy. The initiative also enhances infrastructure resilience by introducing real-time, AI-driven power optimization at the rack level. The initial deployment is set for a data center in Montreal, Canada, with plans for a broader rollout across NexGen Cloud’s European operations. The partnership will enable NexGen Cloud’s AI cloud platform, Hyperstack, to deliver more AI capacity at a lower price, with enhanced power-related services.
