Audemars Piguet and Swatch have teamed up to create a new line of pocket watches priced at $400, significantly lower than the typical cost of Audemars Piguet's luxury timepieces. The Royal Pop pocket watches will be available in select Swatch stores starting
May 16th. These watches feature a manual-wind design with a 90-hour power reserve and are made with Bioceramic and scratch-resistant sapphire glass. The collaboration marks a departure from Swatch's previous partnerships with brands within its own group, such as Omega and Blancpain, as Audemars Piguet is an independent Swiss watchmaker.
