The Sarasota Film Festival has announced its lineup for the 28th annual edition, scheduled from April 10-19, 2026. The festival will open with a screening of 'Deep Water' directed by Renny Harlin, at the Sainer Courtyard at New College in Sarasota, Florida.
The event will feature 47 feature films and 39 short films, with notable appearances by director Renny Harlin and producer Gene Simmons. The festival will conclude with Julian Schnabel's 'In The Hand of Dante,' starring Oscar Isaac, Gal Gadot, Al Pacino, and Martin Scorsese. Schnabel will be honored with the Achievement in Directing Award. This year's Spotlight presentations include films like 'Carolina Caroline' starring Samara Weaving and 'Late Fame' featuring Willem Dafoe. Special events include a Business of Sports Panel and screenings of films like 'Victory' starring Sylvester Stallone.
