Moraine Valley Community College is hosting its annual community art show, inviting artists aged 18 and older from within 50 miles of the college to submit their work. The event, running from May 29 to July 30, will feature a variety of art forms, with submissions
accepted from May 19 to 21. Lisa DeLuca, a seasoned photographer and art juror, will serve as the independent juror for this year's show. DeLuca, who has extensive experience in the art community, aims to evaluate submissions based on creativity and narrative, rather than just technical skill. The show is a significant event for the local art community, offering awards ranging from $40 to $200 for outstanding pieces.
