What's Happening?
SAMA has launched the Black Hole Turbo case, a new computer case designed to minimize noise through sound-damping panels. Priced at approximately $44, the case is currently available in China. It features a design that supports various motherboard sizes,
including ITX, M-ATX, ATX, and E-ATX. The case is constructed with 0.7 mm steel panels and high-polymer resin sound-absorbing padding, which SAMA describes as 'active sound absorption.' However, this is essentially passive noise damping, as there is no electronic noise cancellation involved. The Black Hole Turbo case includes three fans and can accommodate up to nine fans in total, supporting both air and liquid cooling solutions. It also offers a range of front I/O options, including USB-C and USB-A ports, as well as audio jacks.
Why It's Important?
The introduction of the Black Hole Turbo case by SAMA highlights the ongoing demand for affordable and efficient PC components that cater to both performance and noise reduction. This product is particularly relevant for users who prioritize a quieter computing environment without compromising on cooling capabilities. The case's design, which reduces higher-frequency fan noise, is likely to appeal to home server builders and PC enthusiasts looking for cost-effective solutions. By offering a product that combines sound-damping features with versatile cooling options, SAMA is positioning itself to capture a segment of the market that values both functionality and affordability.
