Yavhusishyn Danylo, a 21-year-old Ukrainian refugee, won the November Grand Sumo Tournament in Japan. Known by his ring name Aonishiki, he defeated top-ranked wrestler Hoshoryu in the final match. Aonishiki's
journey began in Ukraine, where he trained in wrestling and judo before switching to sumo. After fleeing the Russian invasion, he moved to Japan and quickly rose through the ranks, reaching the third-highest sumo rank of Sekiwake.
