The GE Aerospace Foundation has announced the launch of its 'Lifting Futures' workforce training program, aimed at addressing the manufacturing skills gap by training 10,000 workers by 2030. The program, backed by a $30 million investment, will initially
focus on five communities: Auburn, Alabama; the Cincinnati-Dayton region in Ohio; Dallas, Texas; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Wrocław, Poland. This initiative is part of GE Aerospace's broader strategy to meet the growing demand for skilled labor in the aerospace and manufacturing sectors. The program will provide community-based training and certification, focusing on reducing barriers to entry and expanding capacity through additional resources and services.
