Hyundai Motor has introduced the Ioniq 3, a compact electric hatchback designed for the European market. The vehicle, assembled at Hyundai Motor Türkiye’s İzmit plant, boasts a class-leading drag coefficient of 0.263 and a Long Range WLTP figure of 496km.
The Ioniq 3 is built on Hyundai Motor Group’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) and features a 400-volt architecture. It supports DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 29 minutes and offers AC charging up to 22 kW. The vehicle is equipped with Hyundai SmartSense driver assistance systems, including Highway Driving Assist 2 and Remote Smart Parking Assist. The Ioniq 3 also marks the debut of the Pleos Connect infotainment system in a European Hyundai, offering features like Digital Key 2 and vehicle-to-load functions.
