Berehanu Wendemu Tsegu of Ethiopia emerged victorious in the 31st Prague International Marathon, finishing with a time of 2 hours, 5 minutes, and 51 seconds. Tsegu managed to pull away from his closest competitor, Justus Kipkorir Limo of Kenya, in the final
kilometers of the race. Felix Kipkoech of Kenya secured second place, while Andualem Belay Shiferaw of Ethiopia finished third. In the women's race, Millicent Jelimo claimed victory with a time of 2:24:19. The marathon attracted international competitors and highlighted the prowess of East African runners in long-distance events.
