The Florida State Seminoles have successfully secured a commitment from three-star quarterback Logan Flaherty for their #Tribe27 recruiting class. This comes after the team faced challenges in recruiting higher-ranked quarterbacks, such as four-star prospects
Israel Abrams, Jake Nawrot, Andre Adams, and Wonderful Monds IV. Flaherty, an in-state prospect with ties to Tallahassee, chose Florida State over other finalists including Rutgers, Georgia Tech, USF, North Carolina, and Memphis. Previously committed to UCF, Flaherty reconsidered his options and ultimately decided to follow in the footsteps of his parents, both Florida State alumni. During his junior season at Port Charlotte High School, Flaherty demonstrated impressive performance, completing 60.8% of his passes for 2,636 yards and 27 touchdowns, while also rushing for 595 yards and 11 touchdowns.
