The University of Oklahoma has extended a scholarship offer to Trey Tagliaferri, a promising quarterback from the Class of 2028. Tagliaferri, who stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs 190 pounds, is currently a sophomore at Bergen Catholic High School in Oradell,
New Jersey. He has been recognized as the No. 205 overall prospect in his class by Rivals and is ranked as the No. 13 quarterback by 247Sports. During his sophomore season, Tagliaferri completed 62.1% of his passes, amassing 2,215 yards, 29 touchdowns, and only three interceptions. He also scored a rushing touchdown. Tagliaferri has already visited several major college programs, including Notre Dame, Penn State, and Alabama, among others. Oklahoma's offer makes him the second quarterback from the 2028 class to receive an offer from the Sooners, following Graham Simpson.
