What's Happening?
Danish artist Thomas Dambo, known for creating giant troll sculptures from reclaimed materials, has installed four new trolls in Iowa as part of his 'Trolls of America' project. This initiative aims to place at least one troll in each of the 50 states.
The new installations in Iowa include trolls named Helmut, Marvin, and Warren in Clinton, and Fjord Ferryman at the Museum of Danish America in Elk Horn. The project involved local volunteers and builders, highlighting community engagement and environmental awareness. Dambo will also be hosting an art talk and book signing in Clinton.
Why It's Important?
