What's Happening?
The NEO Factory in Hayward, California, has commenced full-scale production of humanoid robots, marking a significant development in the field of robotics. The factory, operated by Figure and 1X, is the most vertically integrated robot manufacturing facility
in the United States, spanning 58,000 square feet and employing over 200 team members. The facility is designed to produce 55 robots per week, which will be used for internal research, development, and commercial use-case development. This production includes all critical components such as motors, batteries, and sensors, which are designed and built in-house. The first batch of robots is already off the production line, with consumer shipments planned for 2026.
