The Minnesota Golden Gophers, under the leadership of head coach Niko Medved, have extended a scholarship offer to Isaiah Santos, a highly regarded small forward from Katy, Texas. Santos, who stands at 6-foot-5, is recognized as a four-star recruit and is ranked
as the seventh-best player in Texas for the 2027 high school class according to 247Sports. Nationally, he holds the 81st spot in 247Sports' rankings and 118th in Rivals/On3. During the 2025-26 season, Santos showcased his skills by averaging 22.6 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game, leading his high school team to a 35-1 record. His international experience includes playing for Brazil's U17 and U16 teams. Santos has also received offers from several other universities, including Houston and Utah State.
