Nia Branham, an eighth grader at James Hart School, is making significant strides in her track and field career. At just 13 years old, she has already set state records and achieved a fifth-place national ranking in the American Athletic Union (AAU) competitions for athletes 14 and younger. Nia has excelled in the 200-meter and 400-meter races, claiming first place in the Illinois Elementary School Association's track competition in 2025. Her achievements include winning the AAU Triple Crown in the 60-meter, 200-meter, and 400-meter races at a regional meet in Chicago. Nia's rigorous training schedule at the Gately Park Athletic Club in Chicago, under coach Arghib Hannah, has been instrumental in her success. She is preparing for her next challenge
