Peyton Heermance, a student from Bret Harte FFA, has been awarded the Star in Agricultural Placement at the 98th Annual California FFA State Leadership Conference. This award recognizes students who excel
in employment-based supervised agricultural experiences. Heermance has gained significant experience working at Angel's Camp Veterinary Hospital, where he performs various tasks including assisting with surgical procedures. He also won the 2025 National FFA Proficiency title in veterinary science.
