Cameren Grodhaus, a Southern Local graduate, showcased his skills in the Italian Football League by leading the GLS Dolphins to a 50-14 victory over Marines Lazio. Grodhaus, who signed with the Dolphins in December 2025, played a pivotal role as quarterback,
throwing two touchdown passes and rushing for three more, including a remarkable 97-yard touchdown run. His defensive prowess was also on display with a one-handed interception. Grodhaus, who previously played college football at Lake Erie College and Davenport University, was recognized as an AFCA Team All-American during his tenure at Davenport. The Dolphins' win marks their first of the season, improving their record to 1-2. Their next game is scheduled against the Warriors Bologna on April 18.
